1- First of all peel the gourd and grate it. Squeeze it slightly so that excess water comes out.
2- Heat 1/2 tsp ghee in a pan and fry it till it becomes light golden. After cooling, crush them coarsely.
3- Boil the milk on medium heat in a heavy bottom pan. Boil the milk until it remains almost half and becomes thick.
4- Now put a gourd of grated grated grated in ghee. Cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes, so that the gourd becomes soft and mixes well in milk.
5- Now add crushed makhana to it and cook 5-7 minutes more. Put any sweet suitable sweet powder or fasting according to taste. Add cardamom powder and mix. Garnish with chopped dryfruits from above.
6- Gourd rabri can be eaten in both cold or lukewarm ways. Eat it as a healthy and tasty dessert during the fast.
7- If you want to make it more creamy, then you can also add a little khoya. Mishri is a natural sweetener which is considered ideal during fasting.
