The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the schedule for the CA Final Examinations 2026, which are set to take place in January 2026. To help aspirants prepare effectively, the institute has rolled out details of two mock test series scheduled in November and December 2025. These practice tests will be available in both online and offline modes, giving students flexibility in choosing how they want to assess their readiness.
According to the notification, the first mock test series will begin on 17 November 2025, while the second series will commence on 4 December 2025. The tests will run in both online and offline formats.
Students opting for the offline mode can appear at their respective regional ICAI branches.
For those preferring the online mode, question papers will be uploaded at 1:30 PM on the BoS Knowledge Portal of ICAI (icai.org). Students will need to attempt the paper within the allotted time.
Importantly, the answer keys for each mock test will be released within 48 hours of the exam, enabling candidates to evaluate their performance and make targeted improvements.
Series 1 (from November 17, 2025):
Financial Reporting – 17 November
Advanced Financial Management – 19 November
Advanced Auditing, Assurance and Professional Ethics – 21 November
Direct Tax Laws & International Taxation – 24 November
Indirect Tax Laws – 26 November
Series 2 (from December 4, 2025):
Financial Reporting – 4 December
Advanced Financial Management – 6 December
Advanced Auditing, Assurance and Professional Conduct – 8 December
Direct Tax Laws & International Taxation – 10 December
Indirect Tax Laws – 12 December
Integrated Business Solutions – 15 December
Each mock test will be conducted between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
In addition to the CA Final, ICAI has also announced mock test schedules for CA Intermediate students.
The first series will begin on 18 November 2025.
The second series is set to start from 6 December 2025.
This ensures that students appearing for both Final and Intermediate exams get ample practice before the January exam cycle.
ICAI has confirmed that the registration process for the January 2026 exams will begin on 3 November 2025. Candidates will be able to submit their applications until 16 November 2025 without a late fee.
For those applying late, the final deadline with late fees is 19 November 2025. Additionally, the correction window for application forms will remain open between 20–22 November 2025.

CA Foundation: 18, 20, 22, 24 January
CA Intermediate (Group 1): 6, 8, 10 January
CA Intermediate (Group 2): 12, 15, 17 January
CA Final (Group 1): 5, 7, 9 January
CA Final (Group 2): 11, 13, 16 January
Mock test series have always been a crucial part of exam preparation for Chartered Accountancy students.
