Charlie Kirk, American right-wing conservative political activist who was assassinated on September 10 in Utah, wrote a letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this year. Kirk, a close ally of Trump, advised Benjamin Netanyahu, how to counter “anti-Israel sentiment” among Gen Z and win the “information war” being waged against the Jewish state, according to a letter obtained by The New York Post.
The freshly unearthed letter, written in May, revealed that Charlie Kirk warned that Israel is not just fighting in Gaza saying that he was alarmed by “anti-Israel and anti-Semitic trends” hitting “record levels on social media”. He advised Netanyahu that his focus should be on winning the "information warfare", adding he should not depend on "subcontracting" it to "surrogates in America".
"Mr Prime Minister, I urge you to REVAMP your information warfare strategy from top to bottom," he said. “Israel is getting CRUSHED on social media and you are losing younger generations of Americans, even among MAGA conservatives. In my opinion, you are losing the information war which will eventually translate into less political and military support from America.”

“The purpose of this letter is to lay out our concerns and outline potential remedies. Everything written here is from a place of deep love for Israel and the Jewish people,” added Kirk, who defended Israel when speaking on college campuses as part of his duties leading Turning Point USA, one of the nation’s largest conservative youth organizations.
“I think it’s important to be brutally honest with those you love. In my opinion, Israel is losing the information war and needs a ‘communications intervention.’”
In a seven-page letter, Kirk also flagged the “anti-Israel sentiment” among Gen Z, something he said he observed during his interactions with students and people on college campuses. With Gen Z scrolling past pro-Israel hashtags faster than a skipped ad, he fretted the Jewish state is “losing the information war,” a slip that, he cautions, could cost them America’s thumbs-up.

He suggested "putting together a team of pro-Israel experts who can fact-check misinformation in real time from Israel."
Kirk added that Netanyahu could also consider sending the released hostages on a speaking tour across the US. "Interview regular Israelis and see what they think about the country," he said, adding the country could also do a better job at explaining the threat it faced from Iran.
"A paradigm shift is needed in how Israel presents itself to the world, especially on social media," he added.

His next suggestion was about the image. "Consumers of social media are aware of the billions in supplies we send to Israel, but they're less aware of what America gets in return," he said, suggesting Netanyahu and his team needed to make the argument on social media that Israel was a great friend of America and vital to its national security.
"Israel needs to better portray itself as a member of 'TeamHumanity," he said.
Netanyahu first mentioned the letter in a September 18 video address, eight days after Kirk, 31, was shot and killed during an event at Utah Valley University, to dispute “monstrous” falsehoods that Israel was somehow behind the killing.
Kirk also urged Netanyahu to “do a better job” explaining the threat of Iran getting nuclear weapons, since among “many conservatives who support Israel, there is a concern that America could become entangled in a quagmire in Iran.” Finally, he spurred the Israelis to cultivate more “first-person” social media voices from the younger generation defending the Jewish state.
Kirk’s accused assassin, Tyler Robinson, 22, was apprehended the day after the activist’s murder and faces the death penalty on a charge of aggravated murder.
Robinson appeared remotely during a brief court hearing Monday morning, where his defense team requested a preliminary hearing to determine whether enough evidence exists to move forward with a trial. The next hearing in the case is set for Oct. 30.

Owens further alleged that Kirk, assassinated on September 10 at a Utah university campus, had been contacted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the issue. "...it was at this time that Bibi (Benjamin) Netanyahu was called and Charlie was invited to Israel. This was an under duress situation," she said. These claims were denied by Bill Ackman.

Charlie Kirk wrote a letter to Netanyahu
“My team and I have spent months analyzing these trends and debating ideas that could help you and your country pushback [sic] against these disturbing developments,” he said in the letter, reproduced in full below for the first time. “Anti-Israel sentiment can undermine American support for Israel.”“The purpose of this letter is to lay out our concerns and outline potential remedies. What was Kirk's advise to Netanyahu?
His first suggestion to Netanyahu: "You need a rapid response media team," along the lines of President Donald Trump's White House Rapid Response 47 team. "You are an eloquent defender of Israel, but you need a team of information warriors out there pushing back every day in real time," he said, addressing the Israeli Prime Minister. He suggested "putting together a team of pro-Israel experts who can fact-check misinformation in real time from Israel."

What Candance Owens said
Right-wing political commentator Candance Owens alleged that slain activist Charlie Kirk was threatened during an "intervention" with billionaire Bill Ackman over his "shifting stance" on Israel. "...an intervention was staged by Bill Ackman. Because Charlie's rational thoughts about Israel were a 'no, no' - this is not the route it should be going on - and Charlie was surrounded by his friends. Bill Ackman was very upset," she said on her podcast on Tuesday.Owens further alleged that Kirk, assassinated on September 10 at a Utah university campus, had been contacted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the issue.
