UP Rain: Heavy rain likely in UP for the next four days, Orange and Red alert issued in these districts.

Heavy rain is likely in UP for the next four days. The Meteorological Department has also issued Orange and Red alert for some districts. Most of the rain will occur in Purvanchal. Along with thunder and lightning, there are also chances of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Uttar Pradesh was drenched in rain on the first and second day of October. This rain will continue in the future as well. The weather department has also issued an alert regarding this. On October 3, while there is a yellow alert in western Uttar Pradesh, there is an orange alert in eastern Uttar Pradesh. This means there will be thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds at the speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. There will also be heavy rain. On the other hand, there is a red alert in Purvanchal on October 4. This means there will be thunderstorms with lightning. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain, at some places excessive rain. On the other hand, there will be a yellow alert in western Uttar Pradesh and an orange alert in Purvanchal on October 5 and 6.

Orange alert issued in these districts

In Uttar Pradesh, an orange alert has been issued for Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, and surrounding areas on October 3rd. This means heavy rain is expected in these districts. Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been issued for Banda, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and surrounding areas.

Red alert in these districts on October 4

A red alert has been issued for Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, and surrounding areas of Uttar Pradesh on October 4th. Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is expected in these districts. An orange alert will be issued for Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Basti, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, and surrounding areas.
