Under this initiative, the police has intensified its campaign to save the youth and the general public in various ways of online fraud. Its main objective is to prevent people from getting caught in the trap of cyber thugs and educate them for safe online behavior.

Under this important campaign, students of Government Model Senior Secondary School Ramgarh Panchkula visited Cyber ​​Crime Police Station in Sector 20. The purpose of this educational journey was to provide practical information to students about the dangers of cyber world and measures to avoid them. Cyber ​​station in -charge Yudhveer Singh and his team informed the students on serious topics like data security, digital fraud, overall cyber security and social media misuse. Students were also told that clicking on unknown link or sharing personal information can have serious consequences.

Police officials have advised citizens to take special precautions in view of the festive season and the increasing trend of online shopping. He has urged citizens to be cautious while shopping on platforms like OLX. The police insisted that only a valid and prestigious application should be used for online shopping. Do not forget to check any attractive offer or authenticity of exemption.

DCP Crime Sudan said, “It is our endeavor that every citizen of the district, especially youth, should be aware of cyber crimes. This campaign will continue continuously and we will continue to go to various educational institutions and public places and will keep people alert.” He has appealed to the general public to immediately contact the National Cybercrime Helpline Number 1930 or at the local police station if there is a possibility of any type of online fraud.
