Sunjay Kapurs sudden and unexpected death has turned everything upside down in his home. Kapur who was the chairman of Sona Comstar passed away earlier this year. Following his death a massive debate over his Rs 30000 crore fortune erupted. In a recent interview Sunjays sister Mandira Kapur Smith opened up about the relationship between Kapurs third wife Priya Sachdev and the family. Speaking to journalist Vickey Lalwani Mandira revealed that she was aware of the interactions between Sanjay Kapur and Priya Sachdev during his marriage to Karisma referring to Priya as Lolo. “I wasn’t happy about it” she said. “I think for another woman to not care about a woman who’s just had a child is in bad taste. To come and disrupt a family is in bad taste. And I will leave it there” Mandira added. She also accused Sachdev of breaking a happy marriage. Mandira added “You don’t destroy a marriage. And Lolo did not deserve that. Lolo was also working very hard to make this marriage work. She did not deserve what came to her.” Discussing Sunjay and Priyas wedding Mandira revealed that none of her family members were in favor of the marriage. “Nobody stood by them getting married. Nobody stood by them. I did it because I love my brother” Mandira said. Although Kapur’s mother Rani lived with him she opposed Priya’s swift appointment to the Sona Comstar board. Multiple reports suggest that in the days following his death she prevented Sanjay Kapur from meeting his children with Karisma and even hid certain assets.
