Greg James' voice is known to millions of people, with the star's voice regularly waking up listeners on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast show.

The 39-year-old has forged a glowing career on the airwaves, rising up the ranks from university radio stations to the Early Breakfast Show and then Drivetime. Then in 2018, he took over Radio 1 Breakfast from fellow radio star Nick Grimshaw.

While he keeps busy in the world of radio and with coverage of festivals like Glastonbury and BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, Greg has also found time to host several TV shows, which has likely boosted his bank balance even further.

So far, he has an array of small screen outings on his CV, including Unzipped, Sex and Holiday Madness and reality shows such as I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse and Rise and Fall.

It isn't just Greg's career that's been thriving, with his love life going swimmingly too.

The star is married to Bella Mackie, the daughter of newspaper editor Alan Rusbridger and the author of bestselling dark novel How to Kill Your Family, and they live in north London together.

Announcing their big day on Instagram in 2018, Greg gushed: "Bella and I got married and it was the most incredible day of my life.

"I think it was up there for her too. She is the best thing ever and I feel like I might actually burst with happiness."

Greg recently shared that he got off to a bit of a rocky start in life, as he had to undergo a series of blood transfusions as a baby.

"My life was saved when I was just born by four blood transfusions," he said during an appearance on The One Show.

"My mum had a thing which doesn't really exist now, and you can treat it with drugs, which was rhesus disease. It meant that my blood and her blood didn't match up, and she was essentially doing me harm.

"I was saved, my life was saved. I was very little, a yellow little baby and I managed to survive."

The website WageIndicator indicates that Greg is raking in around £429,000 a year from his work, meaning that he is making more than £35,000 a month.

Reports suggest his net worth could be in the region of £4 million.
