Speaking to the media, the producer confirmed the shoot wrap-up of 'D54' and announced that the new film is set to hit theaters in February 2026.

'D54' which marks Vignesh Raja's second directorial venture. His debut film, 'Por Thozhil' was released in 2023, and it was a huge success with its storyline that mixed elements of crime and suspense. Following its success, the story he has created for Dhanush in collaboration with writer Alfred Prakash has been generating a significant buzz. While the title of the film has not been announced yet, it has only raised the curiosity of fans with the latest update from the producer.

Mamitha Baiju plays the female lead in 'D54'
'Premalu' fame Mamita Baiju essayes the role of female lead opposite Dhanush in 'D54'. K.S. Ravikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu , Karunas, Jayaram, Prithvi Pandiraj, and many others have also joined the cast in pivotal roles. GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in to score the music, while Thani Easwar has handled the cinematography. Srijit Sarang has handled the editing. With a strong contribution from the technical team, 'D54' promises to be a perfect commercial-artistic blend.
