Meanwhile when Bihar folk singer Maithili Thakur met with Bihar BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde discussions about her joining the BJP began. Who is Maithili Thakur? In fact Maithili Thakur met with BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde on Sunday. Veteran BJP leader Nityanand Rai was also present during the meeting. Vinod Tawde shared a photo of the meeting with Maithili on his social media handle. The current Alinagar seat is held by Mishri Lal Yadav who is facing allegations of rebellion. There is speculation that Mishri Lal Yadav may join the RJD. Maithili can also become a star campaigner Amidst speculation about contesting the assembly elections there is also speculation that the BJP may field Maithili Thakur as a star campaigner in the upcoming elections. It is anticipated that Maithili Thakurs candidacy could benefit the BJP in additional seats in Darbhanga and Madhubani districts.
