In Rajasthan’s Jawai National Park, you can see wild creatures like leopards and crocodiles in the open, and the beautiful walk here will leave you mesmerized.
Jawai National Park is located in the Pali district of Rajasthan and is a leopard conservation reserve. A sizeable population of leopards can be seen here. Jawai Dam is also within the park. This national park is spread over an area of 60 kilometers, in which 16 villages are inhabited, where leopards and local people live together. Apart from leopard, wild cat, wolf, jackal and striped hyena are also found here. Along with this, you will also get to see more than 100 migratory and local bird species. Amidst the granite hills, the sight of wildlife is amazing.
You can use road to reach Jawai. One can reach here through private means from Udaipur or Jaipur airport. The nearest airport is Udaipur, which is about 150 km away. Moreover, Mori Bera Railway Station is only 4 km away from here, which is connected to Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai. It is considered best to visit here during winter season.
