Selection Process
Selection will be based on the merit list prepared at the banking outlet level.
Selection will be based on the percentage marks obtained in graduation.
However, the Bank reserves the right to conduct an online test.
Selection order in case of equal marks:
If two candidates have the same graduation percentage, selection will be based on seniority in the Department of Posts (DoP).
If seniority is also equal, selection will be based on age (i.e., the older candidate will receive preference).
Other important instructions:
Candidates must enter the exact percentage of marks obtained in graduation up to two decimal places.
The percentage will be calculated as follows:
Percentage = (Total marks obtained in all subjects ÷ Maximum total marks) × 100 Percentage = (Total marks obtained in all subjects ÷ Maximum total marks) × 100
(This calculation will be independent of whether the university has graded based on "Honors" or "Optional Subjects.")
Rounding off will not be acceptable under any circumstances.
Where only grades (GPA/CGPA/CQPI) are awarded, the candidate will be required to convert the marks to a percentage as per the exact percentage conversion formula prescribed by their college/university.
If any discrepancy is found in the application form regarding the percentage, such an application will be rejected outright.
Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a place in the selection list.
The results of various stages of the recruitment process and the final selection list will be published on the Bank's website.
