Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden shared a sweet photo on her Instagram about her husband. The professional dancer got engaged to her now-husband Ben Jones in 2018 and had a number of shot taken to mark their engagement with a professional snap.
As the snap popped up in her photo album as memories, she decided to share it to Instagram and reflected on the time since he popped the question. He wrote: "This picture came up this morning, us in 2018, a photoshoot for our engagement.
"All my own long hair too [laugh emoji]. So much has happened since. I'm so lucky to have you Ben."
Her followers quickly swarmed the dancer with support as showbiz pal Lizzie Cundy wrote: "You look so gorgeous now and then. You are an inspiration... And what a beautiful couple."
Another person wrote: "And I think today, you look the best you have ever looked. Keep up the glow girl, you are an inspiration to many."
A third added: "Amy you're beautiful with long hair, short hair, no hair. You're just a beautiful person from the inside out. I wish you and Ben ever happiness and full health as you deserve."
The pair tied the knot in 2022, with a magnitude of Strictly stars joining them to celebrate the occasion. The following year she announced that she had discovered a lump and was later diagnosed with breast cancer.
In February 2024, she was given the all clear and was able to go back to Strictly that year, but was forced to drop out.
This year, Amy came back fighting as she was partnered with Thomas Skinner in a bid to try and take home the Glitterball Trophy.
Unfortunately, the pair were the first out of the competition, prompting Amy to give a heartfelt statement about their time working together, she said: "We've laughed so much. We've worked so hard and a glitterball would have been amazing, but what I've learnt in the last few years is happiness, health, and being alive is more important than anything."
"I've made a new friend for life, and I wouldn't change a thing. There is a Ballroom boy in there so I'm a bit gutted he didn't get to do the Ballroom, but the last three years as you know have been quite difficult for me.
"I lost all confidence as a dancer - but walking into the room with you with a massive smile and a laugh, you brought me back and, honestly, thank you."
