India vs West Indies, Test Series: India has made a clean sweep of the series by defeating West Indies in the Delhi Test. India won the first Test played in Ahmedabad by a margin of an innings and 140 runs. And now they have won by 7 wickets in Delhi Test. Along with this, India's dominance over West Indies has also remained intact for years. The clean sweep of the series with the victory in the Delhi Test has been special for India in many ways. This is definitely the first test series win for India under the captaincy of Shubman Gill. Apart from this, through this the Indian team has also given a gift to Gautam Gambhir on his birthday.

The head coach of Team India is celebrating his 43rd birthday on 14 October 2025. And, on the same day, India defeated West Indies in the Delhi Test and won the 2-match series 2-0. In such a situation, this victory is no less than a big achievement for Gambhir on his birthday as head coach.

Now India had a target of 121 runs, chasing which it won by 7 wickets. For India, KL Rahul remained unbeaten in the run chase by scoring a half-century. He scored 58 runs in 108 balls.

First test series won after 378 days

India has won the first Test series under the captaincy of Shubman Gill by making a clean sweep against West Indies. This is India's first test series win after 378 days. India won the last series against Bangladesh on October 1 last year.
