Let us tell you, the teams of Australia and Sri Lanka are currently in the top-2 and India is at the third position. Australia is at first position with 100 percent marks while Sri Lanka is at second position with 66.67 percent marks. At present India has only 55.56 percent marks in its account.

After defeating West Indies in the second Test, Shubman Gill-led Team India will have 61.90 percent points in its account, but it will still not be able to defeat Sri Lanka.

After West Indies, India has to play the next Test series against South Africa at home, in which Team India will have a chance to make it to the top-2.

West Indies showed strength in Delhi Test

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Team India scored 518 runs on the basis of centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Shubman Gill and declared their innings. In response, West Indies was limited to 248 runs in the first innings. Seeing the poor batting of West Indies in this series, India gave them follow-on.

The follow-on hurt the West Indies batsmen and they performed brilliantly to take the lead over India by scoring 390 runs. This is only the fourth time in the history of Indian Test cricket when Team India has to bat on follow-on. West Indies has set a target of 121 runs for India to win, out of which Team India has scored 63 runs at the loss of 1 wicket.
