According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the tech giant is preparing to introduce three new products this week: iPad Pro M5, Vision Pro headset and MacBook Pro M5. With these launches, Apple wants to end the year 2025 on a very strong note.
Due to Monday being a holiday in the US and Canada, Apple may postpone its press release till the end of the week. In such a situation, users in India can expect the announcement of these products any time in the middle of this week. However, the official launch date has not been decided yet by the company.
Apple’s new iPad Pro M5 is in the news even before its launch. Many of its important features have been revealed in the unboxing video leaked from Russia. This device is now going to come with Apple M5 chipset and 12GB RAM. There are no major changes in the design, just the “iPad Pro” name has been removed from the back.
The performance of M5 chipset is said to be much better than M4. It will get 12% faster CPU speed and 36% better graphics performance. However, earlier it was discussed that it will have dual front camera setup for video calling, but this feature was not visible in the leaked unit, due to which there is some confusion.
Apple’s Vision Pro headset will also be offered in upgraded form this time. According to reports, it will also be equipped with M5 chipset, due to which its performance will be similar to iPad Pro.
This time a new “Dual Knit Band” can be given in the headset which will be more convenient to wear. Apart from this, it can now also be available in “Space Black” color option. However, currently only Wi-Fi 6 support will be available in it, latest technology like Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 has not been added. It is not yet clear whether the company will launch it under the name Vision Pro 2 or just as an upgraded model.
The third big launch will be the 14-inch MacBook Pro M5, which will come with the M5 processor. M5 Pro and M5 Max versions will be introduced next year i.e. in 2026. Talking about the design, there will be no major changes in it at the moment. Apple is working on plans to add features like OLED display, touchscreen support, thin frames and 5G connectivity in the coming time.
Apple’s upcoming roadmap shows that the company is also working on new AirTags, Apple TV, and HomePod mini. And in 2026, users can see the new iPad Air, MacBook Air, and budget range iPhone 17e.
