Following the uproar over the paper leak in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has handed out appointment letters to hundreds of young people. At the appointment letter distribution ceremony held in Dehradun, Chief Minister Dhami handed out appointment letters to a total of 1,456 young people. These included 109 Review Officers and Assistant Review Officers selected in the Secretariat Administration Department, as well as 1,347 Assistant Teachers (LT) selected in the Education Department. Congratulating the young people who received jobs, CM Dhami stated that government jobs in Uttarakhand will now be based solely on hard work and merit, not on recommendations or corruption.

Thousands of Youth Provide Jobs

Over the past four years, more than 26,500 young people in Uttarakhand have been offered government jobs. The government stated that Chief Minister Dhami personally met with the recruitment machinery and prepared a comprehensive framework to create a system where hard work and honesty are the keys to success.

The Opposition Made Allegations

When the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak case surfaced, the opposition attempted to put the government on the dock. Many young people also stood up against the government. However, Chief Minister Dhami later reached out to the youth and assured them of a fair investigation, and the situation calmed down.
