UGC NET December 2025: The National Testing Agency has recently launched the online application process for the University Grants Commission (UGC) NET December 2025 session. The NET exam is conducted to determine candidates' eligibility for Assistant Professorships and Junior Research Fellowships in universities and colleges. The NET exam will be held in December 2025. Before this, the NTA has issued a necessary advisory for the UGC NET 2025 exam. This advisory will focus on applicants' Aadhaar cards and UDID verification. Applicants applying for the NET 2025 exam are requested to carefully read the advisory before applying.

What's in the NTA advisory?
You can apply for the UGC NET December 2025 exam on the NTA's official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Applicants must provide several important information when registering for the exam. The information provided in the registration form must match the information on the applicant's Aadhaar card or UDID card. Verification of the Unique Disability ID (UDID) for PwBD applicants has also been made mandatory. If any mistakes are made during registration, correct them immediately, as this could lead to difficulties while filling out the form.

Aadhaar Information
When filling in information such as name, date of birth, and gender during UGC NET registration, ensure that all details match your Aadhaar card exactly. Any mistakes may result in rejection of your form.

Important Rules for Disabled Candidates
If you are in the disabled category, you will now be required to verify your UDID card. The NTA has clearly stated that the UDID card information entered in the registration form must be correct and updated.

Exam Information
The UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year. Online applications for the second exam of 2025 began on October 10, 2025. However, the last date for applications has not yet been announced.

This exam will be conducted online, and all related information can be found on the NTA's official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

How to Apply for UGC NET December 2025?

Step 1: First, visit the ugcnet.nta.nic.on website and carefully read all the instructions.

Step 2: Register using your valid email ID and mobile number.

Step 3: Now, fill in your name, date of birth, educational qualifications, and exam-related information.

Step 4: Upload your photo, signature, and UDID card, if applicable.

Step 5: Pay the application fee online and submit the form.

Step 6: After submitting, download and print the confirmation page.

UGC NET December 2025: Correction Window Dates
Candidates who wish to correct any errors in their application form will be able to do so between November 10 and 12, 2025.
