West Indies Tour of Bangladesh: Team India defeated West Indies 2-0 in the two-test series. After this the West Indies Cricket Board (CWI) has changed its captain. Apart from this, 22 players who performed brilliantly in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) have been included in the ODI team for the first time. The West Indies team will start its campaign in Bangladesh from October 18.
West Indies team will play a series of 3 ODI and 3 T20I matches against Bangladesh. This series will be played from 18 to 31 October. The West Indies team has been announced for this. Akeem Auguste was included in the ODI team in place of injured Evin Lewis. Lewis is recovering from a wrist injury. Apart from this, Khary Pierre, who made his debut in Test cricket against Team India, has also got a place in the team. He will strengthen the spin attack along with Gudakesh Moti and Roston Chase. Alik Athanaje has also been rewarded for his good performance.
