IND VS AUS: The Indian cricket team will be seen playing in the ODI series against Australia from October 19. The magic of Virat and Rohit will also be seen in this series. Meanwhile, BCCI has posted a video which is going viral among the fans. In this video, Shubman Gill is seen meeting Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the first time after becoming the ODI captain and the reaction of both the legends is also worth seeing. This video of BCCI starts with the meeting of Gill and Rohit. Gill approaches Rohit from behind and on seeing him the hitman hugs Gill.

Rohit salutes Virat

Further in the video, Rohit Sharma salutes Virat Kohli sitting in the bus and he also greets him with a smile. After this Virat and Gill meet. As soon as Gill arrives in the bus, he meets Virat sitting at the front. Virat shakes hands with him, smiles and says something and then congratulates him. Let us tell you that both Rohit and Virat were looking very happy with Shubman Gill becoming the captain. This seems to be completely opposite to what the fans think.

Gill was made ODI captain

Rohit Sharma, who won the Champions Trophy, was hopeful that he would lead the team in the 2027 World Cup too but it did not happen. Before the Australia tour, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar announced the new ODI captain. Shubman Gill was also made the ODI captain after the Test. Agarkar also said that it is not certain for Rohit and Virat to play World Cup 2027. It is being told that the ODI series against Australia could be the last international series of Rohit and Virat, however BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla has termed this news as wrong.

Gautam Gambhir did not go with Australia

Let us tell you that Team India's head coach has not gone to Australia with Virat-Rohit, Gill and other players. There are reports that the support staff will leave for Australia in a separate plane. For Gambhir, Australia tour is like a litmus test, it remains to be seen whether the team wins or fails.
