Tata Steel on Wednesday announced plans to deploy women employees in all three shifts at its Jamshedpur plant. According to the company around 543 women from 21 departments will be working in three shifts by February 1 next year as the rollout takes place in a phased manner. Tata Steel Deploy Female Staff In All Three Shifts The expansion of its path-breaking initiative Udaan: Wings of Change witnessed deployment of women across all three shifts on Tuesday the company in a statement said. This move shows Tata Steels commitment towards greater gender diversity equity and inclusion within its workforce along with its broader DEI (Diversity Equity & Inclusion) objectives. This expansion was done after recent regulatory approvals from the government. It shows Tata Steels proactive approach to creating an inclusive work environment.
