Katie Price publicly named her alleged rapist of more than two decades during an ongoing theatre tour with Kerry Katona, despite vowing to never name the British TV star. The former reality star made the shocking revelation while on stage at her An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona show in Stockport on Monday (October 13). Throughout the 38-date tour, which kicked off in September, the pair share candid stories about their lives and careers with audiences across the country.

According to those in attendance, the mum-of-five appeared "stressed" as she spoke about the assault, which reportedly caused the audience to fall silent. They said via The Sun: "Everyone was shocked. People felt really sorry for her. It was difficult to hear that, and it will have touched people who have been through similar horrific situations themselves. The moment was the talk of the interval as the man in question was so well-known." However, this isn't the first time Katie has opened up about the incident, as she first said she was raped by a famous man on her ITV reality show, What Katie Did Next, in 2009

At the time, Katie said police never investigated as she refused to report it, she wrote: "I was raped by a celebrity but no, I'll never name him, I just don't want the drama."

She added: "I don't even know if he knows that I've spoken about him, I doubt he does."

As for why she never reported the assault, Katie explained: "It happened absolutely years ago and like anyone, it's just a hard thing to do. It's been done now, what do you do?

"I would say if something happens you should go to the police. It was definitely rape, I didn't consent to it."

The former glamour model who burst into the spotlight during the 90s then addressed the incident again in 2017 during an appearance on This Morning, which at the time was fronted by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

As they discussed the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment allegations, Katie confessed: "I've been raped by a celebrity, you would know of them.

"I've never said a word. I don't want to go down that road. It happened years ago, and then time goes on, so I just think it's best to stay out of it," she added.

Katie told the former hosts that she would tell them the identity off-camera and mentioned that she went back to the celebrity's house, but said "no" when she was there.

In a 2023 interview with The Guardian, the 47-year-old reflected on the assault as he stated: "A lot of people with status get away with things. People cover up for them, and a load of people get paid off."

"When I was in the Priory my therapist said 'Kate, we've never known anyone to have so many traumatic events happen to them.' And I'm still here, coping," she added.
