The latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors has been officially described as having the "best task," leaving fans "howling." Following the banishment of Ruth Codd, the remaining celebrities were then taken to a different location to complete their next challenge to win more prize money. The players were split into two teams, with one group heading into the woods. Host Claudia Winkleman said simply: "Match the locket with the wailing banshee." If the team could sing their melody down a well, which is a connected line to the other team, and they listen through water, then they could try to decipher the correct wailing to the locket.
Celia Imrie, who has become a firm favourite on the show, really put in a hard effort to repeat the wailings down the well, which left fans roaring with laughter. One person said on X: "Celia again, icon. Never fails to make me cackle!"
A second also chimed in: "Okay, we need a new DAME - arise Dame Celia Imrie." A third also commented: "The face of the winner! Thought I was watching #CelebrityTraitors, not the exorcist!"
A fourth person also said: "Celia Imrie screeching into a well is absolutely 10/10 Television." Another also echoed: "Celia farting on national tv, now doing a death whail was not on my celebrity traitors bingo card."
And yet someone else declared: "These celebrity games are more interesting than the previous seasons #CelebrityTraitors." Even one person described the moment: "This is potentially the greatest piece of television ever made."
Following the mission, it was time for the tense Roundtable discussions, where everyone gave their theories on who they thought was a Traitor.
Ex-rugby player Joe Marler suspected Jonathan Ross, but the majority of contestants pointed their fingers towards Clare Balding. Sadly, she revealed to the group that she had always been Faithful and had been mistaken for a Traitor.
Afterwards, Jonathan Ross said in the confessional: "How am I still here?"
The three Traitors discussed who to murder next, with Kate Garraway, Charlotte Church, and David Olusoga being named as their potential victims. Unfortunately, fans will need to wait until next week to find out who has been chosen.
Alan Carr joked: "If Kate doesn't come down for breakfast, people are just going to think she's gone into a broom cupboard by mistake".
The Celebrity Traitors returns next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
