The police were alerted at approximately 1:55 p.m. to a call for help at 78 Airport Boulevard, as reported by The Straits Times.

The woman was unconscious when she was taken to Changi General Hospital, where she was later confirmed dead, according to Channel News Asia.

A TikTok video shared online showed someone performing CPR on the woman, who was lying on the ground, while several bystanders gathered around.

“We are deeply saddened by the incident and extend our condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased,” said Lee Ching Wern, CEO of Jewel Changi Airport Development.

“We are working closely with the authorities to provide our full support during their investigation.”

Situated in Terminal 1 of Changi Airport, Jewel is a nature-inspired entertainment and retail complex that is home to the HSBC Rain Vortex, a 40-meter-high indoor waterfall, known as the tallest in the world.
