Skoda seems to have had a great September, with sales numbers showing a significant increase from the same time last year. The company sold a total of 6,636 cars in September 2025, which is more than double the 3,301 units they sold in September 2024 A lot of this success seems to be coming from their newest model.

The real star of the show for Skoda is their new compact SUV, the Kylaq. This model alone made up a huge portion of their sales, with 4,398 units sold. It’s clear that the Kylaq has struck a chord with Indian car buyers and is the main driver behind the company’s recent strong performance.

Skoda’s sedan, the Slavia, also held its own. It brought in consistent sales with 1,339 cars sold. While this was a slight dip compared to the previous year, it showed healthy growth from the month before, indicating that there is still a solid demand for sedans in the market.

However, it’s a different story for the Skoda Kushaq. Sales for this SUV have slowed down, with only 769 units sold in September, which is a 56% drop compared to the same month last yearThis decrease might be because some customers are waiting for the updated 2026 facelift of the car, which has already been seen in testing.

Overall, Skoda appears to be in a good position, largely thanks to the immediate popularity of the Kylaq. While the Kushaq is experiencing a temporary dip, the brand’s general direction looks positive.
