The couple shared the news on Weibo on Saturday with a message: “Dad, mom, and him.”

The post immediately went viral, garnering over 200 million views and hundreds of thousands of comments within an hour. Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the post with congratulatory messages, including actress Kara Wai, actor Zheng Shunxi, and members of Chan’s management team.

“Congratulations, William. Your effort and sincerity have been recognized by everyone,” wrote Chan’s manager. “I’m happy to witness you entering a new chapter of your life. Wishing your family peace and happiness.”

Neither Chan nor He have confirmed whether they are married.

Rumors of their romance first surfaced in 2021, after paparazzi photos showed the pair returning to the same apartment complex. The speculation intensified in 2024, when they were spotted vacationing together in Japan.

Last month, fans noticed that He had deleted all content from her Weibo account. Her absence from social media for over six months, along with her absence from major fashion events and reports that she declined new endorsements and magazine shoots, further fueled rumors that she was preparing to settle down with Chan.
