Islamabad. Pakistan’s security forces have claimed to have killed 20 terrorists at three places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The Army said that during this period a suicide attack was foiled and this success was achieved in an intelligence-based operation at two places. Army Chief Asim Munir has warned Afghanistan today. He said that the Taliban regime should take immediate action against the terrorists who are using Afghan soil to carry out attacks inside Pakistan. According to the report of The Express Tribune, security forces foiled a suicide attack attempt in North Waziristan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and killed six terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Also, 14 terrorists were killed during intelligence based operations in Datta Khel and Lakki Marwat of the province.
According to military officials, a terrorist rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the wall of a security forces camp in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. This caused a powerful explosion. After the blast, five other terrorists tried to enter the camp. The security forces immediately retaliated and killed them outside the camp. During this time, one security personnel lost his life and six others were injured when the roof of the camp collapsed. The injured were immediately taken to the nearest military hospital.
According to the report of Geo News Channel, amid increasing tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has made a strong call to the Taliban regime to take strict and immediate action against the terrorists using Afghan soil to carry out attacks inside Pakistan. The Army Chief gave this warning to Afghanistan today during the passing out parade at Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul. He said that the people of Afghanistan should choose the path of mutual peace and security instead of violence.
