The Jharkhand government provides financial support to registered construction workers for the treatment of serious illnesses under the Chikitsa Pratipoorti Yojana 2025. This scheme is fully funded by the state government and can be availed only through online application.

What is Chikitsa Pratipoorti Yojana?

Launched by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development, Jharkhand, this scheme aims to support construction workers facing serious health issues such as cancer, heart disease, kidney disorders, AIDS, liver transplant, and other major conditions. Each beneficiary can receive assistance once per illness, with payment processed after district-level committee approval.

Diseases Covered Under the Scheme

The scheme provides financial aid for the treatment of:

  • Cancer

  • Heart diseases (including surgery)

  • Kidney diseases (including surgery)

  • Chronic mental illness

  • AIDS

  • Bone marrow transplant

  • Liver transplant

  • Spinal surgery

  • Major vascular diseases

  • Advanced liver cirrhosis

  • Retinal detachment

  • Diabetic retinopathy

Note: Assistance is provided only for listed diseases and once per beneficiary per illness.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be a permanent resident of Jharkhand

  • Be a registered worker with the Jharkhand Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JBOCWWB)

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Be engaged in construction work (e.g., mason, carpenter, electrician, painter, porter, etc.)

  • Be suffering from a serious illness (as listed above)

How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the Comprehensive Labour Management System (CLMS), Jharkhand official website.

  2. Click Login at the top right and select Register Here.

  3. Fill in name, mobile number, email, username, and password.

  4. Complete OTP verification.

  5. Log in and navigate to: Services → BOC Scheme Benefit → Application Form.

  6. Enter basic details, select the scheme, and upload necessary documents.

  7. Click Submit Request to receive your Application ID – note it for future reference.

Check Application Status

Go to Services → BOC Scheme Benefit → Application Status, enter your Application ID, and check if the status shows Approved to confirm eligibility.

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Residence Certificate

  • e-Shram Card

  • Registered Worker Certificate

  • Bank Account Details

  • Medical Report & Proof of Illness

  • Passport-sized Photograph

  • Income Certificate

Important: Only treatments at hospitals approved by the Health Department under the scheme are reimbursable, with maximum limits defined by the government.
