Health Corner: Mixing lemon juice in lukewarm water can be beneficial for weight loss, but it can prove harmful for teeth. According to researchers at the British Dental Association, the acid present in lemon can damage the enamel layer of the teeth.
Consuming hot lemon water is most harmful for teeth. Scientists suggest drinking it through a straw or gulping it down in one go, so it remains in contact with the teeth for less time and damage can be avoided.
Glaucoma treatment by injection:
Glaucoma, also known as glaucoma, is an eye disease that can affect vision without warning. British scientists have developed a new method to treat this disease. This method uses a hypodermic needle, through which a flexible drainage tube (Jen Gel stent) is inserted into the eye. This tube helps in removing excess fluid formed in the eyes.
The risk of glaucoma may be increased by conditions such as genetics, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. The optic nerve, which transmits messages from the eyes to the brain, gets damaged due to excess fluid accumulation, which impairs vision.
