Model and author Daisy Lowe is planning to build an eco-friendly house in the countryside where she can live 'off-grid' with her family.
The 35 year old celebrity recently relocated to Somersetand is relishing the more relaxed lifestyle with husband Jordan Sauland daughter Ivy, two.
And now she is establishing permanent roots by building her own self-sufficient dwelling.
Speaking at the Renault 'Maison 4' Event at Future Stores, Oxford Street, she said: "I have always loved escaping to the West Country for fresh air, space, getting immersed in nature, and peace.
"That's what I've always wanted for my family, so it's been such a special experience moving our lives out to Somerset over the past six months."
She added: "We are looking for a space to build an eco-home - one where we can be a bit off-grid and pretty self-sufficient, creating a unique and sumptuous living space that combines elements of industrial and more traditional interiors, fuelled by my love of making a home feel beautiful."
The gathering, hosted by Renault, brought together prominent figures in fashion and sustainability to celebrate the launch of the all-new Renault 4 and its modern electric design.
Daisy welcomed baby Ivy in 2023, and has spent time in Los Angeles and lived in London before making the transition to rural life.
Whilst the star continues to juggle her career with motherhood, she said her priorities have shifted. "Becoming a mum has made self-care so much more important than it's ever been," she explained.
"If I don't take care of myself, then I'm no good to my little cherub, so I'm much better at setting clear boundaries, taking time for myself, and making the most nourishing or caring choice.
"As for fame, it's a treacherous beast... one that is fickle and yet comes hand-in-hand with the profession I've chosen.
"I have never courted it, and it by no means defines me - and through motherhood, I care so much less than I ever did."
Looking back on her modelling career at the Renault 'Maison 4' Event, Daisy revealed one experience still feels surreal.
"When I had the honour of walking in the Chanel Métiers d'Art show in London," she said. "Having Karl Lagerfeld fit me was a once-in-a-lifetime, pinch-me moment."
