Sunny Deol was born on 19 October 1956 in Sahnewal, Ludhiana, Punjab. His real name is Ajay Singh Deol. The name of Sunny’s mother and Dharmendra’s first wife is Prakash Kaur. Actors Bobby Deol, Vijeta Deol, Ajita Deol, Ahana Deol and Esha Deol are Sunny’s siblings.
Actor Sunny Deol started his film career in the year 1982 with the film ‘Betaab’ with Amrita Singh. He was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his strong acting in this film. After this, Sunny worked in many superhit films in the 1980s and 1990s. He started as a director and producer with the film ‘Dillagi’, in which his brother Bobby Deol was also seen.

Sunny Deol’s personal life has always been in the news, especially regarding his marriage. He quietly married Pooja Deol (Linda Deol) in England in 1984. Pooja is of half British and half Indian origin. It is said that Sunny and Pooja got engaged when they were just 14 years old.
