New Delhi: Actor and singer Jennifer Lopez has found herself at the centre of controversy again after her ex-husband Ojani Noa accused her of cheating and lying during their marriage from 1997 to 1998. The accusations came shortly after Lopez appeared on The Howard Stern Show, where she candidly said she didn’t feel she had ever been truly loved.
“It’s not that I’m not lovable, it’s that they’re not capable. They gave me what they had. They gave me all of it, every time. All the rings I could ever want,” Lopez told Stern.
Reacting to Jennifer Lopez’s comments, Ojani Noa took to social media to call out the pop star and share his own version of events. “The problem [is] not us. Not me. The problem [is] you. You’re the one who couldn’t keep it in your pants,” he wrote. He further accused Lopez of playing the victim card, adding, “You have been ‘loved’ a few times. You have been married four times. And have had countless relationships in between. You’ve had good relationships… Me, for example.”
Ojani Noa, who claimed he had always been loyal, continued, “I was in love with you… I moved out of state to support, protect, and care for you. I’m an amazing, loving person, honest and faithful to you. I never lied, never cheated on you. You decided to lie, to cheat on me and even though I stayed… You begged me to keep the marriage intact to avoid bad press.”
He ended his post with a direct message to Lopez: “Tell the truth for once… You should be embarrassed, ashamed of yourself.” Jennifer Lopez has not responded to these allegations. Her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs, with whom she dated between 1999 and 2001, was recently sentenced to 50 months in prison for charges related to prostitution. According to Times Now News, Lopez’s Maid in Manhattan co-star Thea de Sousa defended the singer, saying she knew nothing about Combs’ alleged crimes.
