CPCB experts also believe that anything that emits smoke cannot be eco-friendly, even if it causes less harm.

1- If you are going to burn green crackers this Diwali, then while buying, definitely check whether it is real or fake. For its actual identification, it is necessary to have a QR code on green firecrackers, which can be scanned to see whether the firecracker is real or fake. Fake green crackers can also be sold. After burning this firecracker, less chemical will spread.
2- There is a fixed time for bursting crackers on the occasion of Diwali. During this time, firecrackers are burst from 6 to 7 in the morning and from 8 to 10 in the night. If you follow this rule then the risk of pollution is reduced.
3- Before bursting crackers, we should take care of the sick, elderly and children in the house. Their health may be at risk. Stay indoors, use an air purifier or wear an N95 mask.
4- Avoid burning too many firecrackers on the occasion of Diwali. Burning firecrackers in closed places or crowded areas causes more harm. Burn firecrackers only while maintaining distance in open grounds, parks or open areas of the society.
