Patna. The bugle of Bihar assembly elections has been sounded. Elections are to be held here in two phases. The first phase of elections will be held on November 6. The second phase of elections is on November 11. The counting of votes will take place on November 14. Meanwhile, all political parties are pulling out all stops to ensure their victory. But there is one seat in Bihar which has attracted the attention of the entire country. This is Mokama assembly seat. Like every time, this time also two Baahubali’s are facing each other on this seat. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has nominated Anant Kumar Singh as the candidate from his party Janata Dal United. Veena Singh, wife of former RJD MP Surajbhan Singh, is in the fray.
While talking to the journalists, Anant Kumar Singh challenged him and said that you people are making a big challenge to Surajbhan Singh, but I have been fighting for 20-25 years. They have lost every time and will lose this time too. JDU candidate Anant Singh clearly said that he has neither fear of muscle power nor fear of violence in the elections.
Taking a jibe at the ongoing tussle regarding seat sharing on the Mahabandhan, Anant Singh said that it has been heard that both the parties are fielding their candidates in seven assemblies.
CM Nitish Kumar had offered the post of Chief Minister
Ananth Kumar Singh said that CM Nitish Kumar had earlier also offered me the post of minister, but I had refused. He said that Nitish Kumar first wanted to make me a minister, but I said that I want only what the public has given me. This time I will think whether to become a minister or not. If the public says that I should become a minister, then I will become one.
