Will RSS Ban? In preparation for the big decision of ‘this’ state in the country, the Chief Minister gave orders for direct action
A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) march was denied permission in Karnataka’s Chittpur on Sunday. Chittapur is the constituency of Minister of State for Home Priyank Kharge. Chittapur is considered the stronghold of Congress state president Mallikarjun Kharge. Officials fear a breakdown in peace and law and order there. It was for this reason that he refused permission to the RSS programme. Cut-outs and banners put up by the RSS on the main road were removed by the city council under police protection. In order not to disturb the peace and law and order in Chittapur and to avoid any untoward incident, permission was denied for the RSS Path Sanchalan program to be held on October 19.
