Mumbai: After the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode, ‘Bigg Boss 19’ viewers seem to be quite disappointed with host Salman Khan for giving a ‘soft warning’ to singer Amaal Mallik following his nasty remarks against Farrhana Bhatt and her mother.

During the captaincy task, Amaal and Farrhana indulged in an ugly fight, with the former calling her and her mother ‘B-grade’.

Instead of lashing out at Amaal during ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode, Salman addressed the issue in a calm tone. “Even if Farrhana was wrong according to you, who has given you the right to play God and decide who can eat and when? You are not God; you are not even being fully human—you are failing at that too. Who gave you the right to snatch her plate? Food was falling. God has given food to everyone, and you are disrespecting it. Amaal, when you call someone’s mother B-grade, are you justified? Just because someone did something wrong, according to you, does that give you the right?” Salman said.

Amaal’s father Daboo Mallik, who was present as a guest on the show, said he is proud of his son, but wants him to refrain from making such remarks about other housemates.

This didn’t go down well with the netizens, who were expecting Salman to take a stern action against Amaal for calling Farrhana’s mother ‘B-Grade’.

Reacting to the episode, one viewer said, “They played the sympathy card so well!!!”

Another person commented, “How easily Salman turned the victim into a perpetrator and the perpetrator into a victim! Amaal ‘pathetic’ Mallik learned nothing about the damage he has done and has gotten even braver now!!!”

One user wrote, “Amaal’s father is saying he is proud? He is proud of whom? Raising a characterless man who doesn’t know how to respect others?”

“Amaal should have said sorry to Farrhana and her mom in today’s episode. In front of Salman, his dad, and housemates, he said, ‘Is jese ladki ko to muh bhi nahi lagta if Bassett would not have introduced her in their group.’ Even after hearing this, Salman did not correct him. Salman is just pretending to speak for the sake of people watching outside. This show is totally biased. But people can see it,” another person commented.

“This season has crossed all limits of bias—towards the same contestant every freaking time,” wrote one netizen.

“I was waiting for WKV, but it triggered me after watching Salman slam Farrhana for asking whether they both are together. It wasn’t her who started it, but still, she was bashed. Salman is actually biased, giving him a chance to meet his father — nonsense! This was the worst WKV ever,” expressed another viewer.
