New Delhi, October 21 (Read): Just days before its official launch on October 23, Redmi has unveiled the key specifications of its upcoming flagship — the Redmi K90 Pro Max. The device is shaping up to be one of the most powerful smartphones in the segment, boasting an enormous battery, next-gen processor, and a high-end display.
One of the biggest highlights of the Redmi K90 Pro Max is its 7,560mAh batteryone of the largest ever fitted into a premium smartphone. The phone supports 100W wired, 50W wirelessand 22.5W reverse wired charging. Redmi claims the device is fully compatible with 100W PPS chargersensuring faster and more efficient power delivery.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a dedicated AI Independent Display Chip D2 for improved image rendering and energy efficiency. Redmi says the K90 Pro Max will feature Xiaomi’s largest vapor chamber cooling system yet, promising sustained performance even during heavy gaming and multitasking.
The smartphone will sport a 6.9-inch OLED display with a full RGB sub-pixel structure. The panel supports DC dimming across all brightness levelsfeatures a circular polarizerand goes as low as 1-nit brightness for comfortable viewing in dark environments. Redmi emphasizes that the display is designed for eye protection without compromising on color accuracy or brightness.
The K90 Pro Max will house a 1/1.31-inch main sensorthe same used in the Xiaomi 17along with a 50MP ultrawide lens. Notably, it introduces Redmi’s first periscope telephoto camera featuring 5x optical zoom, 10x “lossless” hybrid zoomand OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for stable long-range shots.
The Redmi K90 Pro Max will debut officially in China on October 23alongside other products including the Redmi Watch 6 and Redmi K Pad Golden White variant.
