A sensational case has come to light from Barhan area of Agra district of Uttar Pradesh, which has shocked everyone. It is said that relationships are based on trust and dignity, but when these relationships turn into hatred and revenge, this incident has presented an example of how dire the outcome can be.
The incident took place in Khedi Adu village of Barhan area late on Monday night. Here a woman attacked her brother-in-law and cut his private parts. The injured youth has been identified as Yogesh, who is working as an engineer in UltraTech Company in Haldwani. He had come to his home during Diwali holidays. After the incident, Yogesh was admitted in critical condition to SN Medical College, Agra, from where he has been referred to AIIMS Delhi.
According to the police, the accused woman Archana is the wife of Yogesh's elder brother Rajbahadur. Family members told that Archana wanted Yogesh to marry her sister, but Yogesh's marriage was fixed in Mainpuri, which was scheduled to take place in November. Angered by this, Archana called Yogesh to her room after Diwali puja and attacked him with a sharp weapon.
Hearing Yogesh's scream, other family members reached the spot and saw that he was lying on the ground in a pool of blood. The family immediately took him to the hospital. There was a stir in the entire village after the incident.
According to sources, after the incident, the accused woman's husband Rajbahadur sent Archana and her three children to her maternal home located in Etah district. Police have interrogated both of them.
Barhan police said that FIR has not been registered in this matter yet, but investigation has been started. There are many discussions regarding this incident in the village. Some people say that Yogesh had gone to his sister-in-law's room before the incident, however, the police said that investigation is being done from all angles.
Barhan police station in-charge said, "The incident is serious. The condition of the victim youth remains critical. The statements of the family members are being recorded. Further action will be taken after receiving the complaint." This incident remains a topic of discussion in the village. People have been stunned by such painful incidents amidst the happiness of Diwali. Yogesh's family members are constantly taking information about his health in the hospital.
