The BJP government is on target of the opposition regarding pollution in Delhi. The opposition has alleged that the government is not serious about pollution prevention. On the opposition’s allegation, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal said that 10 years of chaos cannot be rectified in 8 months. He claimed that next year we will give a clean environment to the people of Delhi.

Talking to IANS on increase in pollution level in Delhi after Diwali, Praveen Khandelwal said that this time the pollution is less as compared to previous years. The pollution level in Delhi had reached 600 during the previous Aam Aadmi Party government. The previous government did nothing, due to which the people of Delhi are having to suffer the consequences.

He said that CM Rekha Gupta has alerted all the agencies. Our government has been successful in reducing pollution. The pollution level is around 350. If the previous government had worked to reduce the pollution level, Delhi would have been in a better situation today. Our government is doing good work.

There are many causes of pollution, which our government has studied. A roadmap has been prepared to eliminate each cause. Measures are also being taken to prevent pollution. The Center is fully cooperating with the Delhi government and pollution will soon be controlled.

Regarding the Bihar Assembly elections, Khandelwal took a dig at the Grand Alliance and said that theirs is not an alliance, but an alliance of political opportunism. This truth is now coming to light.

He claimed that NDA will form the government in Bihar with an overwhelming majority in the upcoming elections.

On the occasion of Police Memorial Day, Khandelwal praised the police force. He said that we breathe a sigh of relief when the police works with promptness. I believe that the police need to be more modernised.

On the issue of SIR, he said that it exposes the double character of Lalu Yadav’s party and other opposition parties. They say one thing, but their actions are something else. SIR was necessary because there were a large number of fake voters, due to which fair elections were not possible. For fair elections, it is necessary to remove illegal voters.
