There was a lot of chaos during the matches played between India and Pakistan in Asia Cup 2025. The players of Team India had refused to shake hands with the Pakistan team. Due to which the 'handshake controversy' remained in the headlines throughout the tournament. After this, a similar scene was seen in the India-Pakistan match played in the Women's World Cup 2025. Now this dispute has reached the Kabaddi court.

Indian players did not shake hands again

India and Pakistan faced each other on the Kabaddi field in the third edition of the Asian Youth Games. In this match played in Bahrain, the Indian Youth Kabaddi team defeated Pakistani players by 81-26 runs. But before the start of the match, Indian captain Ishant Rathi did something which caught everyone's attention. Captain Ishant Rathi gave a strong message by not shaking hands with the Pakistani captain during the toss. Even after the match was over, the players of both the teams did not shake hands. The video of this incident is now going viral on social media. The move is a result of recent border tensions, including the loss of 26 Indians in the Pahalgam attack and developments like Operation Sindoor.

Indian team's one-sided victory

The Indian team performed tremendously in this match. The surprising thing was that India all out Pakistan twice in the first 5 minutes and took a lead of 20-4. After which Pakistan team did not get any chance to comeback. The scoreboard read 43-12 at halftime, and India maintained its dominance in both departments. India's bench strength got a chance in the second half and yet the team's dominance did not diminish.

Substitute raider Manav Suryavanshi scored six consecutive points, while right-corner defender Hrithik Saini made four consecutive tackles, which further strengthened India's lead. In the end, India won the match by 81-26. Earlier, India had won against Bangladesh by 83-19 and against Sri Lanka by 89-16.
