New Delhi: South Africa Womens team defeated Pakistan by 150 runs in the ICC Womens World Cup 2025. In this rain-affected match the second innings was limited to 20 overs and Pakistan was set a target of 234 runs under DLS. Laura Wolvaardt and Marizanne Kapp Shine South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt batted brilliantly scoring 92 runs from 82 balls. Her shots showed both power and class. Marizanne Kapp also made a blistering 68 including four fours and three sixes. The partnership between the two took the team past 300. Pakistani Bowlers Troubles Sadia Iqbal and Nashra Sandhu took three wickets each for Pakistan but the remaining bowlers struggled to get any wickets.
