They say a smile is worth a thousand words — but apparently, it can also reveal a little more than that.
The latest viral craze on social media claims you can tell a guy’s “endowment” just by his smile, and social media can’t stop gossiping.
According to swooning TikTok and X usersfrom fans of “Superman” actor David Corenswet to Hugh Jackmana “hung smile” is a sly, flirty and confident grin that supposedly signals a man knows just how well-endowed he is.
Think: “big d–k energy,” as made popular in 2018 thanks to Pete Davidson.
For the record: no smile — however sultry or smoldering — is scientifically linked to a man’s… downstairs assets, as these are all assumptions.
In a recent TikTok clip, user Stephen Brenland @stephenbrenland explained, “Only a certain specific group of men can do this smile, and it’s because they’re actually ‘hung’ if you know what I mean.”
He added, “When a man is well-endowed […] he gives this specific smile and it’s not like ‘I’m so happy,’ it’s more like a smug smirk, sometimes with teeth.”
He noted that it can be a “casual smile” where the “corners of his mouth don’t even go up that much, but they are up a little bit and it just has so much confidence behind it.”
Viewers headed to the comment section to share their thoughts, with one noting that the man’s confidence can also be seen in his eyes: “It’s an eye smile rather than a mouth smile!!”
“I’ve seen the hung smile many times,” someone else commented.
In another viral video, TikTokker @chicken.shakez can be seen flirtily smiling in a video made in response to a comment that read, “I noticed you got that Hung smile.”
Over on X in particular, many “hung smile” fans can’t get enough of actor Corenswet, flooding the platform with screenshots from his “Superman” press tour and a sizzling GQ shoot — with many swooning over that grin… and, well, his impressive 6’4 frame.
6′ 2″ “X-Men” alum Jackman is also becoming the subject of X thirst, with user @nymphiany sharing a photo of him with the caption, “he got that hung smile” and user @karmapuhleez posting another pic of him, writing, “that hung smile <3”.
TikTokker Lexi @wwqfd also posted a video of actor Evan Peters in his role of Tate Langdon on “American Horror Story,” writing, “he got that hung smile yall.”
But before anyone starts taking notes from these internet theorists, experts say the whole “hung smile” thing might be more fantasy than fact.
It might be best to forget the old myths about hands, feet — or even shoes.
Dr. Rena Malik, a sexual health surgeon, told the Diary of a CEO podcast last year that you can’t judge a guy’s junk by his extremities.
But she did reveal there is one body part that could give a more accurate clue — the nose.
“There’s one study — it’s a Japanese study where they looked at only Japanese men so there are some limitations — but they measured all these body parts and penile length and they found was that nose length was cor with penile length, not hand length or foot,” she said.
The expert didn’t say if any studies back up a nose-to-penis connection — but she has definitely seen more patients freaking out about their manhood lately.
