New tinted theme option coming soon

MacRumors has reported that Apple has introduced a new tinted theme option for Liquid Glass in the iOS 26.1 beta version. This means that users can now revert to the previous clear look or select a new tinted theme if they wish. This new tinted theme reduces the transparency of the UI, making controls and buttons look clearer. Along with this, it will also add better contrast to the interface, which will make the visibility even better.

Many users said that the liquid glass design made it difficult to see many parts of the interface. There were issues with notifications and navigation controls etc. in Apple Music and other apps. The company has said that according to users, they need an opaque look for the new design. Following this, a new update is rolling out that will allow users to personalize Liquid Glass. This new feature will be rolled out to users in iOS 26.1 beta 4.

How to change Liquid Glass theme?

• After the new update, if you want to try this new tinted theme, you need to go to your phone’s settings for it.
• First, open the Settings app in your iPhone.
• After that open the Display and Brightness section.
• Now here you will see the new option of Liquid Glass.
• From here you can choose either Clear or Tinted theme option.
• This means that if you set a theme from this page, you’ll also see a preview of it, so you’ll know what looks best before the changes appear. Although this feature is currently only in beta version, it may be rolled out via a stable update soon.
