Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has responded to Tom Daley's remarks on Celebrity Traitors. Both stars have appeared on the BBC spin-off series, with Tom recently being revealed as the second murder victim. Traitors Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and Cat Burns chose the Olympic diver, where Jonathan had summed up the Traitors' deliberations by saying: "He's super smart, lots of people will eventually get on to us, and maybe we can steer the blame towards another Faithful." Before he was 'murdered', Tom mocked a comment Kate made during the show, where she expressed her shock and said: "I'm flabbergasted" when Paloma Faith was 'murdered.'
Rolling his eyes in response, Tom later confided in Alan Carr and asked, "Who uses that word?" Carr replied, "You can't just call someone a Traitor because they have a better vocabulary than you."
Following his exit, Tom has continued to mock Kate's iconic catchphrase with an Instagram post. He flashed his toned abs in a video as he walked towards the camera and quipped: "Well, I guess my flabbers were officially gasted."
Kate has addressed Tom's viral response to her 'flabbergasted' comment during the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday evening. She insisted that there was no bad blood between the stars.
Speaking to MailOnline, she said: "I love Tom. But clearly my 'flabbergasted' is not his cup of tea. Although he did send a message saying his 'gasted was fully flabbered' - so I think he's on board now."
Kate is starring in Celebrity Traitors, which sees 19 celebrities work together to sniff out the Traitors so that the Faithfuls can share the £100,000 prize money, which will be donated to a charity of their choice.
Meanwhile, Paloma Faith felt "betrayed" after being the first to be killed on Celebrity Traitors.
The 44-year-old singer was murdered in plain sight by close friend Alan Carr, who had been tasked with wiping pollen from a "poisonous" flower onto one of the Faithfuls' faces, and she was stunned to learn the trio were responsible for her downfall.
Speaking to Ed Gamble on The Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked as he revealed who the Traitors were, she said: "Jonathan! The geek! What a p****."
Celebrity Traitors resumes tomorrow on BBC One at 9pm.
