Bhai Dooj Bank Holiday: The festive season is in full swing and for the past two days the entire country has been celebrating Diwali. Today i.e. October 22 the festival of Govardhan Puja will be observed. Due to the ongoing festivities banks across various cities have been closed on different days this month. In the coming days too banks in some cities will remain closed on specific dates.  The festival of Bhai Dooj will be celebrated on October 23 all over India. So if you’re planning to visit the bank tomorrow make sure to check whether banks in your city will remain open or closed.  Bank Holiday’s on 23rd October The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issued a list of bank holidays in advance which shows which days and in which cities or states banks will remain closed. Tomorrow i.e. October 23rd the festival of Bhai Dooj will be celebrated.  The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared a bank holiday on October 23 in a few states. Accordingly banks will be closed in Gujarat Sikkim Manipur Uttar Pradesh West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh. Apart from these states banks across the rest of the country will remain open tomorrow. Will Banks Remain Open In Delhi Tomorrow? Talking about the national capital Delhi banks will not remain closed on October 23 due to Bhai Dooj. This means banks in Delhi will be open tomorrow and if you live in the city you can carry out your banking work as usual. Similarly banks in Mumbai will also remain open tomorrow.
