WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that will make using the platform even more engaging. Users can now create images for their statuses using AI. The company explained that this feature is based on Meta's advanced generative AI technology and allows images to be created simply by typing text. This means you no longer need to download or click photos for your status; simply enter a description (prompt) of the image you want, and AI will generate it in seconds.

Using this feature is also very easy. Users first need to open WhatsApp and go to the Updates tab. Here, the new AI Images option will appear on the status screen. Tapping on this option will open a text box where users must type in a prompt for their desired image. For example, "a couple sitting on a beach at sunset" or "a rocket flying in the night sky." Meta AI will then generate and display several images based on the prompt. Users can choose any of their favorite images or create an edited image by entering a new prompt.

Once the image is ready, users can customize it to their liking. They'll have the option to add captions, stickers, or text. Finally, tapping 'Send' will upload the image to your WhatsApp Status, accessible to your contacts.

This AI feature has currently been released for select users, but the company has stated that it will be made available to all users on both Android and iOS platforms in the coming weeks. Tech experts say this feature will significantly transform both content sharing and personalization on WhatsApp.
