Srinagar: GR8 Sports India from Kashmir has signed an MoU with Talentpost, a New Delhi based company to accelerate sports innovation, athlete development, and industry expansion in Jammu and Kashmir.
The partnership is aimed to create a pipeline of trained, competition-ready athletes from J&K by offering access to world-class training, skill enhancement programs, scouting initiatives, and industry-led coaching support.
“In tandem with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream our aim is to build champions, empower dreamers, and ensure India emerges among the world’s top five medal-winning nations at the 2036 Olympics,” Rajveer Rohit Kaushik, MD of Talentpost told ET. He further said, “We want to tap the potential in J&K and give it a platform at national and international stage through our partnership with GR8 Sports.” Kaushik said that the partnership will be “equity based and order based” details of which would be chalked out soon. “We will be opening training centers in educational institutes, universities and other areas to tap the potential of thousands of young athletes whose talent often goes unnoticed,” said Kaushik, adding, “We are looking at the initial investment of Rs 45 crore in GR8.”
Fawzul Kabiir, of GR8 Sports India, stated that with Talentpost as an empowering partner, his company is “ready to create pathways for young athletes who deserve mentorship, exposure, and the right ecosystem to thrive.” “This partnership is our commitment to turning raw potential into global excellence,” said Kabiir.
