Often when an important call is expected, the phone receives a call from a number that starts offering insurance, credit card or loan. In such a situation, one gets angry, but now it has become very easy to get rid of this problem.
If you also want that no unwanted calls or messages come on your phone, then you just have to take one small step. You can register your mobile number in the Do Not Disturb (DND) registry. After this you will stop receiving any kind of promotional or telemarketing calls and messages.
The easiest way to avoid spam calls is to activate DND by visiting your service provider’s website or app.
First of all open the website of your network provider (like Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL etc.).
Go to the DND section there and enter your mobile number.
After this, an OTP will come on your mobile, enter it.
Now if you want, you can block only calls or only messages, or both.

If you do not want to use the website or app, you can activate DND with just an SMS. For this, type -START 0 from your registered mobile number and send it to 1909. After this your number will be included in the DND registry and this service will be activated in a few hours.
Even after this, if you get any spam call or message, then just send a report message – UCC (space) Caller Number (space) Date/Month and send it to 1909.

Your DND request will be registered immediately.
After this, telemarketing calls and promotional messages will stop coming to your number.
