When it comes to beauty recommendations, it can be hard to know which ones to take seriously. However, one person who has never shied away from an honest review is comedian Rosie Ramsey, who doesn’t hesitate to tell her fans if she thinks something is absolutely useless.

So when she made a post on Instagram singing the praises of Saie’s Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Flush, we sat up and took notes. The podcast host said: “It’s the first time I’ve ever used a liquid blush, and I just love it. And honestly, I think it’s going to last me until I’m 95.”

The £22 blush is known for its ultra-pigmented formula, which means you only need the tiniest of dabs on each cheek to give them a wash of colour. Rosie revealed she’d already fallen foul of using too much, adding: “I’ve learnt to use the tiniest amount, because some days I look like Santa.”

She then showed herself adding a tiny dot to the apples of her cheeks – quipping that “even that might be too much” – before using her finger to blend the liquid formula along her cheekbones. Although Rosie said she got hers in a beauty advent calendar, you can shop the Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Flush at Cult Beauty, with Rosie using the shade Chilly, which is still in stock.

The blusher is perfect for creating a no makeup-makeup look, and gives a semi-sheer wash of colour that’s easy to blend, and has a luminous undertone to give your skin a glow. You can also layer up the product if you prefer a more opaque colour payoff, but for a natural look, the single dot of colour will be more than enough.

Another liquid blush with a similar formula is the Rodial Blush Drops Frosted Pink which is currently £31.20 down from £39. It has a glowy base with a super subtle tint of colour, which makes it perfect for creating an effortless makeup look.

However if you want your blush to pack more of a punch, Huda’s £34 Blush Filter is the one for you. The colour payoff on these is intense, so you’ll only need a teeny dab of it to do both cheeks, but it gives a much bolder, more impactful shade.

However Rosie’s Saie Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Flush has gotten some great praise from shoppers who love it for its more natural-looking colour payoff. One said: “Now I need every colour!! Already have a few I just can't get enough of this.”

Whilst another raved about it, writing: “I've had this blush for a couple months now, I adore it! It's that perfect level of sheer, and the shade just looks like a super natural flush. I'm ultra pale (so blush can be really tricky) and really don't like looking like I'm wearing makeup, I've had people not believe I'm wearing makeup (including my mum, and mums can always tell) as it just melts so well into your skin, that even up close you can't tell it's makeup! The perfect your skin but better product. Also sits really well on bare skin and over light dewy foundations! -has the ‘just moisturised’ my face level of glow to it, lasts all day as well. Can you tell I love it?”

One did mention: “I really like this and glad I bought this but not my favourite, a little too dewy for me. I have oily skin so might be better if you are dry.”

Whilst another wrote: “Blends well only downside is it disappears throughout the day.”

However others joined Rosie in their love of the Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Flush, writing: “First time trying their products and it’s lovely . I love the dewy finish and how much product you get with purchase. Lasts most of the day.”

And another praised: “This is by far the best liquid blush I’ve used. Colours are gorgeous on the skin. A little goes a long way and is very buildable. No stickiness either.”
