The Indian team, who came to bat first, once again had a bad start. Captain Shubhman Gill was out after scoring 9 runs on the ball of Xavier Bartlett. This was the first time in Kohli’s ODI career, when he was out without opening the account in two consecutive matches. However, after this, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer took over the team and also started scoring runs at a rapid pace.

Cooper Conley played an unbeaten inning of 61 runs in the middle order. But the biggest difference was made by Owen’s quick-fire party of 36 runs.

Owen snatched the match from the hands of Team India by scoring 36 runs in 23 balls. In the end, the Indian bowlers tried to make a comeback in the match by taking 3 wickets, but if there had been a few more runs, perhaps better results could have been achieved. In the 47th over, Australia achieved the target of 265 runs with two wickets in hand and captured the series.
