During this 30-day period, the company has achieved a milestone by delivering more than 1 lakh vehicles. The company announced that this performance is as much as 33 percent more than the previous year.

Tata Motors’ SUV range has led the growth, with the Tata Nexon set to become India’s No. 1 selling car in September 2025. The Nexon achieved 73% year-on-year growth during the period, selling over 38,000 units. On the other hand, Tata Punch has recorded sales of 32000 units, achieving 29% year-on-year growth. These figures clearly show that the preference trend of Indian consumers is shifting towards the SUV segment.

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited said, “Our EV (electric vehicle) portfolio has also shown significant growth during this festive season. We have sold over 10,000 electric vehicles during this period, a growth of 37 per cent. Models like Tata Nexon EV, Tigor EV and Panch EV have increased the customer base. Confidence in EVs has increased.”
